Let's get this started!

Hello!

First post, and i hope not last!

What's that about:

After playing Warhammer 40 000 for a couple of years, I managed to collect а few models, but I never had any sort of project to complete. At this moment I have 40 Veterans with different weapons, 3 Vendettas and 1 Chimera. In the past I borrowed a few tanks from my friend for bigger scale games, who have Imperial Guard army too. But today my friend is selling his Imperial Guard army and I am going to loose all my Heavy support, and its time to build my own.

Nowdays i have a little bit more free time, and I looking forward to build up an fully painted Imperial Guard army. After many hours and days looking for different camouflage scheme, I decided to make it as simple as possible and take something well known and easy to make. Ofcourse I am not going to be very original but I am looking forward to try Cadian army with classic Khaki and Green colors.

Army:

My army list still in progress and there are different things I have to test and check. However there are core units i really want to lead in to combat.

Company Commander should lead whole army to battle, giving orders and helping to hold the line. At the same time capable to pack some punch in desperate situations.

Platoons will be the backbone of army with autocannons and granade launchers. Probably i will take 1 Veterans squad on vendetta as linebreakers.

I prefere Artilery. Basilisks, Medusas and Manticores will be the main killers for army.

Project:
  •     Gameboard;
  •     Terrain pieces;
  •     Craters for exploded vehicles;
  •     1000 pts. Army;

This Blog:

I like to write Battle reports! The best battle report is a battle report of fully painted armys clashing on each other with all thier might and glory. But for this kind of battle reports, i need a good painted army myself, and a Gameboard! Looking forward - I am going to post as many Battle reports as possible.

I will try to support my posts with pictures as much as possible as well as keep description on high level.

P.S. I am not a native English speaker so I apologize for any mistakes in grammar writing.
